There are two kinds of expanding foam. Dow blue insulating foam makes great tombstones. Put an old ironing board in the yard, it makes a great place to paint and dry props. The price of blue foam increases after a hurricane, go figure. Plastic light-up ice cubes are great for lighting items in your haunt; the best part is they are waterproof. Make sure you get the kind with replacement batteries. Expanding foam sticks to everything. Liquid nails come in a variety of kinds. Always use the construction kind for blue foam for your tombstones or it will eat the foam, icky! People do look at you strange when you are eating your lunch in the local graveyard. Maybe it was the paint samples and the tape measure they found strange. Easter and Christmas are a great time to stock up on angels and crosses. Halloween props for Christmas gifts are great! That's a hint, see Department 56 for ideas. Yes, dear there is a difference between a blucky and a bucky. And finally PVC pipe and connectors are the tinker toys of the homehaunter. |
